PROVIDENCE, RI — July 21, 2020 — WONGDOODY, the award-winning creative agency and the global experience-and-design platform for Infosys, announced marketing veteran Lara Salamano as the associate vice president of its new Providence studio. The company provides strategy, content, product design, and digital and traditional branding for customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) innovations. Solutions include mobile app design, website design and development, VR, social campaigns, video, animation, traditional advertising, retail, product marketing and activations, and a wide range of offerings.
Prior to WONGDOODY, Salamano spent more than two decades as a brand strategist and marketing executive — including 13 years at Viacom, leading partner marketing for brands. More recently, she served as the chief marketing officer for the State of Rhode Island.
Partnerships and Increased Hiring
Under Salamano’s leadership, the new WONGDOODY studio and its partner, the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), will train experts to use design, technology, and industry knowledge to address complex business problems. Because of the growing demand for client services, Salamano plans to increase hiring for the Providence studio by 70 percent before the end of 2020.
4A’s Taps Salamano as Expert for New CX Council
In addition to her role at WONGDOODY, Salamano was recently selected by the 4A’s as an executive committee member for their new CX Council. The association has gathered the most accomplished and influential cross-industry leaders in CX design to help brands and agencies transition into the experience era.
