AUGUST 9, 2022 – WONGDOODY, the human experience company powered by Infosys, announced it has appointed Pete Gosselin as Executive Creative Director of North America, effective immediately. Gosselin joins the global creative agency, which currently boasts 21 creative studios, and 1,500 creatives, designers and innovators cross the world. Based in New York, he will report directly to Global Chief Creative and Design Officer, Grace Francis.
In his new position, Gosselin is charged with leading, managing, and inspiring work across North America. He will be working across a suite of Amazon brands and Webex by Cisco. Gosselin will also work closely with Francis to lead WONGDOODY into the Metaverse, continuing to produce one-of-a-kind work in pixel streaming experiences, immersive journalism, and gameplay.
“Pete’s versatility in tone and format will make him an excellent creative leader at WONGDOODY. His book can make a grown adult, cry, laugh or empty their wallet, sometimes all in the same thirty seconds. Pete’s desire to continue innovating in the creative space, exploring emerging technologies and data, will no doubt see him developing meaningful human experiences at WONGDOODY.”
Gosselin joins WONGDOODY from Havas, where he served as Executive Creative Director. During his six-year tenure at Havas NY, he helped shape their unique work, including the First Ad in the Blockchain for TD Ameritrade. Prior to Havas, Gosselin’s extensive career, which spans nearly two decades and three continents, saw him work on nearly every product category and had his work featured in just about every award show on the planet. Gosselin and Francis both share historical tenures at Grey and Droga5.
“WONGDOODY has a heritage of independent thinking, coupled with the ability to access emergent technologies thanks to their relationship with Infosys. This is unique in the agency landscape,” said Gosselin. “The strong thinking, and an incredible inclusive culture, made this role an absolute dream for me. I’m very much looking forward to continuing to grow the WONGDOODY offering in North America.”
For WONGDOODY, this marks another key appointment as the company continues to work towards creating a truly global studio model with a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives. Earlier this year, the company appointed Grace Francis as its first-ever Chief Creative and Design Officer. WONGDOODY also named Mohan Krishnaraj to the newly-created role of CXO India and promoted Jessica Wittebort to CXO in North America.
WONGDOODY is an award-winning creative agency founded in 1993 by Tracy Wong and Pat Doody. Today WONGDOODY creates human experiences often called advertising, branding, experience design, strategy, and production in 21 studios around the globe.
