When the work-from-home revolution began, Webex already had two decades of experience in web conferencing, but the market quickly became saturated.

When the work-from-home revolution began, Webex already had two decades of experience in web conferencing, but the market quickly became saturated. We went to work with a global campaign reintroducing Webex as the ultimate high-performance collaboration tool for hybrid work.

To capture the attention of their target audience, we partnered with a group of the highest-performing humans on the planet, who also happen to be an actual Webex customer — the McLaren Formula 1 Race Team. This was the ultimate case study to demonstrate how Webex keeps a team like McLaren connected from anywhere, when precision is critical and milliseconds matter.

Solution

Working closely with the McLaren F1 team, we identified real use-cases to authentically weave Webex technology into communication and show how crucial it is to the team’s ability to do hybrid work on and off the track.

“Driving Hybrid Work” is a global campaign that ran on the biggest of stages, like Roland Garros, and the smallest, like the palm of your hand, through a massive digital and social campaign, successfully helping Webex do some reverse aging.

Results

With a massive 100% lift in unaided awareness, 51% lift in organic search and 3x increase in purchase intent, Webex has outmaneuvered the competition and is positioned to stay in the hybrid-work driver’s seat.
