WongDoody, the human experience company powered by Infosys, has announced Phil Golub as its new Head of CX, North America. In this position, Golub will focus on the agency's design-on-demand services, helping to lead client-embedded teams on large-scale, longer-term transformation initiatives, under the leadership of WongDoody's Global CXO, Ralf Gehrig.
Golub joins WongDoody from Symphony Talent, an SAAS technology company, where he served as VP, Head of Experience. Prior to this, Golub spent ten years at Publicis Sapient in the role of Head of Experience for the south region of North America. At Publicis Sapient, he oversaw 6 studios comprising over 100 creative professionals, and was part of the North American Leadership team, working closely with design visionary John Maeda.
Golub is a seasoned UX, product, and service design expert who works at the intersection of empathy, capability, and delivery, where customer relationships are positively transformed and value is unlocked with speed, scale, and precision. A designer at heart, Golub partners closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers to create systems that scale, with human-centered thinking at the core. Phil Golub has led award-winning teams that have picked-up accolades from OMMA, Transform North America, WebAwards, and The Drum, and he is also the co-host of the highly-rated podcast “What Bubbles Up,” a show about ideas: where they come from, the process people take to create them, and how to know when they’re truly great.
Commenting on the appointment, Phil Golub, Head of CX, North America, WongDoody said: “We are witnessing tremendous cultural shifts across the globe, much of which is being driven by digital transformation, and companies that seize on this opportunity have the greatest chance of success.” He added: “In WongDoody I found a team of dedicated professionals who are truly passionate about creativity, and its strategic importance in managing client relationships. I'm excited to partner with the rest of the experience design leadership team to help shape WongDoody's next stage of growth.”
Ralf Gehrig, Global CXO, WongDoody, commented: “As we drive our design-on-demand services forward, it’s fantastic to engage Phil's expertise and leadership in this critical area of our ongoing work. It will be central to how we best-serve our clients going forward.”
